Public Transport
Bray is currently well served with both DART and intercity rail services. It also benefits from both public and private bus networks. The Bray Town Centre scheme is located just 500m from the DART Station.

A Quality Bus Corridor is proposed as part of the Dublin Road Widening project and will link directly with bus lanes within the new scheme.

In addition in September 2007 the RPA announced its intention to bring the LUAS into Bray to connect with Bray Dart Station. The route proposed will run through the Bray Town Centre site where there also be a stop for Main St.

Bray will therefore enjoy a level of public transport service unique to any major comparable town in the Greater Dublin/North Wicklow area. The Bray Town Centre scheme will be at the heart of this public transport network.

Access from Road Network
Access from the North of Bray will be from the M11 exiting at the Wilford Interchange and proceeding onto the Dublin Road (to be widened to accommodate two traffic lanes and one bus lane in each direction). The Northern entrance to the Bray Town Centre scheme is accessed directly off the Dublin Road.

Access from the South of Bray will be mainly from N11 exiting at Fassaroe interchange and proceeding the Southern entrance of scheme at improved Sunnybank/Castle St Junction.

Internal Access /Car Parking
The Northern Road within the site will bring cars and buses from the Dublin Road to both the commercial areas of the scheme and link with the Central Road to serve the seafront residential neighbourhood.

The Southern Road within the site will bring vehicles from Dargle Rd and Sunnybank junction to serve both the commercial and residential areas. This road has also been designed to accommodate the future Luas route linking with the public transport only section along the commercial core and onward to the future public transport bridge and the DART station.

There are 3,300 underground car parking spaces in the mixed use commercial area of the new development and 659 underground spaces in the residential neighbourhood.

Pedestrian/Cycle Routes
The two pedestrian bridges will provide links to the Main St and Dart Station. Within the scheme there are numerous pedestrian and cycle routes linking all areas both internally and with the surrounding areas.

Approximately 1,600 Cycle parking spaces been provided for.
