A key design criteria of the proposed development is to create strong links between the different main areas of Bray such as Main Street, the Harbour and Esplanade, the DART Station, the river and the development itself.

The new development brings a real extension of the town with connections through:

1. A pedestrian bridge linking Bray Main Street at the Royal Hotel to the new retail centre, the riverside walk and Castle Street. This is the key gateway that links the new town centre to Bray's existing main street.

2. A second bridge for public transport at the harbour end of the site will carry the LUAS across the river to link up with the DART Station.

3.The proposed LUAS link to Bray will run through the new development to meet with the DART.

With this connectivity the proposed development provides a real extension to the existing town by linking the Main Street of Bray to the new development and is vital to the future success of the entire town of Bray.
