A New Vision for Bray

The Bray Town Centre will bring new vitality to Bray on many different levels. It represents a unique opportunity for everyone in Bray to enhance our position as one of the leading towns in Ireland. The purpose of this website is to inform the Community of Bray about the new Centre, which will bring so many positive features to the Town.

It is fair to say that Bray, as a retail centre, has been suffering in recent years. The Golf Club Lands were identified by Bray Town Council as a site which could offer the opportunity to provide the Town with an expanded retail facility as an extension to the Main Street in Bray, as well as providing much needed community facilities.

Community is a key word to our development team. We are very aware of the community “feel” to Bray and want to ensure that we preserve the friendly atmosphere of the town. Linking the new Centre to the Bray Main Street will ensure the expansion of the present town and not just create another shopping area divided from the centre of Bray itself. This design is vital to the social and commercial success of the project. We are delighted with the generally positive reaction the scheme has received locally and very much want to keep the entire community informed of our plans.

If you haven´t already done so, we invite you to drop into our information office at 115A Main Street and talk to us. We will endeavour to clarify any queries that you may have about the scheme. The office is open Monday – Friday 9-5pm. The office is equipped with a scale model of the proposed development and this, combined with a DVD presentation of the project, will help you visualize the components of the development and assess the finer points of what is proposed.
